I/H 500 D crawler/ make it move.

Recently I aquired thid I/H 500 crawler. It was complete, eng. runs, all hyd. work, 3 point and pto as well. There is a filter missing about middle of tractor, l/h side near flywheel housing. I am quessing that this unit has a split trans but don't know for sure. The rear box is full of hyd. fluid but I can't find where to check or add to the front box where clutch and torque converter are. I know this tractor was roaded under it's own power to where I got it. Can anyone help on this? I have a manual coming but would like to get it moved to get it out of the weather and start restoration of it. She's a really cute little crawler. Thanks Chester
