I forgot, if a vacuum leak is the problem (causes poor idle leaning out at low RPM when vacuum is highest) you can find it by spraying say WD 40 or Carb Cleaner etc all around the carb and carb to head gasket and if she speeds up and smoothes down you found the leak.
Ive seen a vacuum leak around the gasket from carb to head, look for that as it can cause problems at idle or lower RPM.
