I got a regulator/hose assembly and a couple of adapters to make it fit the stove, bought a 20# propane tank and hooked it up. Everything works except that one burner looks like it needs a new orifice. The LH oven pilot light tube had a hole in it, as I discovered, so I got a new piece of line and new ferrules at the hardware store and it seems to be working fine now. I tested the LH oven and the thermostat works, this will be the first time in 13 years that we have had an oven that will regulate its own temperature, which is quite a thrill. The thermostats are still available for this stove if we ever should have to replace them, though we only use one oven anyway. They are Robertshaw model FDs. The first photo is the old stove which we have been using for the past 13 years(it was here when we came) and the second is the new stove after moving it to the kitchen. I broke one of the corner mounts on my warehouse trolley so I am rather sad about that, if anyone has any insights on cast aluminum repair I posted pictures on the Tool Talk forum. Thank you all very much who helped me a couple of days ago with how to test the stove. Zach

Amana Colonies served as a respite where we ate a family style lunch that sustained us with more food than could reasonably fit into our ample physiques. The show at Ankeny
