The biggest question for me, are we influencing it, for real, if so then there is validity in changing our ways. IF its beyond that with all the other associated nonsense, a cycle, a pattern, someone with an agenda is trying to sell us a bill of goods, shame on them and the big wheel they want to use to steam roll us.
I can't comment beyond that, no facts, sure the ice caps are melting, rising seas, we know that, its measurable, but beyond that, do any of us have quantitative facts enough to make statements that mean anything ? I for one, do not.
My opinion is, that if we as a race, world included are our own worst enemy by destroying or compromising our environment, then we need to change our ways, that is common sense, problem is we don't have enough facts visible to the common person, at the time its needed if, there is in fact impending doom, staying the path we are on. I'm not for taking chances, so that 50 years from now, (and I won't likely be here, but still, thinking of others) people have determined they were right either way, hopefully correct that its a natural occurrence.
I can go either way, its a bunch of crap, to heck with it, global this or that, phooey!!!!! LOL ! Or, yes folks, theres a problem, and if there was, wouldn't you, the good steward of the land, want to institute change ? I don't know, be ignorant, self focused or think of others, and to what detriment our actions affect those, its a mighty big question and scenario to consider, without a lot of plain, quantifiable facts to work from, at the time it needs to be done, which is now, if there really is a problem.
Weather wise, we had a good old fashioned winter, a real spring, and summer has been plentiful with both enough rain, heat, humidity but not in excess as other years, which typically we were seeing high heat, in July, some in August, '10 was a brutal summer here, I was soaked in sweat from head to toe working in our barns, miserable, humidity and drought like, does that mean global warming, I don't know. This summer so far has been ideal, relief with cooler drier air from the north following every hot/humid spell, other years it would linger, winter with below zero temps and lots of snow. Its always changing, that's how it is.

Today's Featured Article - When Push Comes to Shove - by Dave Patterson. When I was a “kid” (still am to a deree) about two I guess, my parents couldn’t find me one day. They were horrified (we lived by the railroad), my mother thought the worst: "He’s been run over by a train, he’s gone forever!" Where did they find me? Perched up on the seat of the tractor. I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
