We just got back a bit ago. Got our daughter and her cat all moved in. Traveled 2187 miles round trip. Took I-44 to Norman Oklahoma and returned on I-35 stopping in Kansas City, Mo. to see the Arabia Steamboat Museum. She sank in 1856 with 200,000 pounds of cargo. No people lost their lives. Over the years the river changed course and in 1988 they found her 35 feet down in a cornfield. Some of the freight was cleaned and displayed; they are still working on cleaning some of it.
We also came through the Flint Hill on 177. Beautiful country. We stopped at the Tallgrass Preserve but didn't hike as the heat index was 108. Next time. We did eat Chicken Fried Steak at Emma Chase cafe. Good stuff!!! We didn't see much wheat along the way but a few fields of milo. From KC we took I-35 to I -80. Some good looking corn through Iowa and Illinois.
One question: in Missouri and Kansas we saw lots of Illinois bunndleflower, but none once we hit Iowa. It's supposed to be native to the lower 48. Does it grow in Iowa?
Love to travel but good to get home. Took a walk to check on my plots and found a tick a few minutes after I came in. I must be home.

I've already drilled the center of the bolt out with about 7/64" drill bit the entire length of the bolt. Only one end of the bolt is visible. I tried to use an easy out but it wasn't budging and I didn't want t
