Actually, to a degree, texting can save a lot of time if you know what to ask and how. I use it a lot on ads to ask a couple of simple questions to see if it is what I am looking for. Then, a person needs to call and ask the rest of the questions.
In the world I live in today, I just won't take the time (notice I didn't say don't have the time) to make calls that have 15 minutes of pleasantries. For one reason, I like to visit. Texting saves me a ton of time.
I'm not advocating complete conversations by texting, just simple short Q's and A's. Besides, most phones now are capable of having you talk into them to get your message. Make sure to proofread before sending...lol..don't ask me how I know! It's like anything else, I know my Grandfather would never have one of those noisy gas burning tractors when his horses would do just fine. I still have his first tractor, by the way. Bob
