Sounds like you raised them right. When someone says there no jobs, I want to tell them, First you have to look for one. Many today have been given the impression that everything runs by pushing a button. The better jobs with most job security now is in the maintenance field. There are a lot of plastic molding companies around where I live that are constantly needing maintenance technicians. You have to know basic electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics and electronics, plus basic welding, but all that can be learned at the local community college. And the pay is pretty darned good.
