Sorry to hear as well. Its never easy. Our dog "Lucy" we had for 15 years. She was always upset if I didn't say hello in the morning before anything else. She was a goofball. I have pictures of her before her gray hair and back when I had hair lol. She used to ride in the tractor all the time. Once my cousin borrowed dad's tractor. She jumped up on the step, saw it was someone different and got off lol. I remember once when we came home from town she came up to the car with her top lip curled up as she had lost a tooth. One time I was down to the shop working outside and she came and sat on my lap, I petted her a little and put her down and she crawled up on my lap again. I had seen her eat that day and she yelped a little and stepped back so I figured she had a sore tooth so I mixed up some milk and crackers for her. She ate it right up. I miss her very much.
