its located behind the seat under the body there should be a cover in the middle of the body be hind the seat sorta where you would place the golf bags if you remove ithat cover and remove the lower front seat cushion you should see it located up close to the body panel left between the two openings at least that's where mine is on the 1996 48v club car golf cart if you are having troubles with it working check all the connections at the foward reverse swith as they can crack as they swivel and prvent power from flowing you need to actully wiggle themto be sure they arn't cracked and also theres a micro swich there as well that can get corroded connections or just burns out that will make the cart unusable just jump the two wires and see if it works to confime thats not your problem
