George I guess I wasted my time the other day on looking up the filter spec. on the Stens filters!!!!!
The filters I looked up for you have ANTI DRAIN AND BYPASS VALVE!!!!!!!
Why else would I post the pressures that the bypass works at!!!!!
Then right behind that I wrote ANTI DRAIN, That means it has an anti drain valve in the FILTER!!!
I have a Stens 120-634 in my hand right now. It does NOT have a plastic separator like some one told you. It is NOT a Fram made filter. It IS made in the USA. I have used them for over ten years with ZERO issue. That is on several Kawasaki V-twin 20 plus HP motors. One has over 3500 hours on it all on Stens filters. I have cut them open and compared them to a JD AM107423 filter (The one JD sells for most Kawasaki motors)the Stens filter looked good to me.
So I don't know what more information you need. It seems like you will listen to some and not others so its your call. I am done.
