It will not work the cylinder is 55 inches wide. each tire 23.1 inches, So we are at 101.2 inches if the cylinder was against the tires. So you add in another 10 inches on each side your at 120.1 inches. So you tires will be right against the other row IF you drove perfectly while planting.
You will knock ears off of the next row with the tires. IF there is ANY mud at all you will push the next row over.
Another issue is the JD 7700 will not be even near full enough to do a very good job shelling.
I would get a six row head and shell all six. You will knock off far fewer ears than you would trying to use a 4 row narrow header.
