These two old codgers were sitting at a picnic table discussing health issues and whatnot. Gus says, "You know, most of this aging stuff, I can deal with, but forgetting stuff and loosing stuff really makes me feel old."
Archie looks at his friend and says, "I used to be forgetting stuff all the time. I was always loosing car keys, the TV remote, my glasses. And I can't tell you how many times I forgot the wife and I had plans to go out with friends. Heck, Gus, I would have forgot my own name if it wasn't stitched in my drawers."
Gus asks him, "You say you used to have memory problems. You don't anymore?"
"No," Archie answers. "My doctor gave me these pills that really help me. Why, my mind is like a steel trap now. I never forget anything!"
Gus is intrigued. "So what's the name of those pills? Maybe my doctor can prescribe them for me."
"The name of those pills? OK, Let me think." Archie replies. "Uh, what's the name of that flower? It's red, has a long stem with lot's of thorns?"
"You mean a rose?"
"That's it! ROSE! Hey Rose, what's the name of those pills the doctor gave me?"
