If that Euclid TC-12 is same as what I saw 40 years ago in Arizona, it has a pair of 6-71 Detroit Diesels, two separate drive trains. LH engine drove LH track, RH engine drove RH track. To make a gradual turn, just slow down one engine. To swivel in place, leave one track in forward, put the other track in reverse. Roughly 400 HP. Would have liked to been there and see it in action.
