Well just heck! The dad burned ear infection is back. I told that Pakistani doc (VA) that the other (now retired doc) always gave me an antibiotic shot and a steroid shot and then powerful antibiotic pills to take. Well the Pakistani idgit only gave me the pills, no shots. So after two weeks the infection is back, of course. So I went to the local Doc-in-a-Box and told him the situation and he said that is exactly what he was thinking to do...two shots and pills to knock this thing out. I am just about to give up on the VA after about 25 years of fairly good service. I've only been having this problem my entire life with the ear, so I know what works and what doesn't by now. Unless the Pakistani doc has discovered a new and exciting treatment....just give me what works! By the way, the doc today said that was a mess in there and I need to get it fixed by an ENT soon. So they both got that part right...lol. Nutin' I didn't already know though.
