Purina has as senior dog chow. I've used it before but I'm not all that sure that the regular isn't fine too.
I'm posting only to say give him a little bit of whatever you are having. Maybe he does already, but my point is at his age especially, what's it gonna hurt? He deserves some of the good stuff. I have to leave the last few bits on my plate for my dog and put his food on top that. It's kinda a thing--last bite to the dog. From chili to fish he just wants what I'm eating and I figure it makes his usual chow smell better as he eats it. Don't forget popcorn or ice cream at night if your having some. Mine gets his ice cream in a coffee mug--that way it takes him awhile to lick it out and he's not finished before I start. :)
Just don't over do it and let him get fat--you can cut a bit off his chow if worried. Enjoy life!
