: Need to bale small hay field (10 acres). Have a WD-45. Any suggestions as to what kind of square baler would work best? A NH Super 66, 67 or 68 would be ok, as would a NH 268, 310 or 311. You could also run a JD 24T, 336 (what I run), or 327 without any problems. I don't like IH balers, so I can't recommend one of those. As far as other brands are concerned, some are hard to get parts for (like Oliver and Case) and some seem to work OK but I don't know much about them (Massey Ferguson, which is strange since I have lots of other MF equipment). Also remember, the older it is, the more likely it is that it will have a lot of wear on it. Newer machines may be cost-prohibitive for 10 acres. If you don't mind tinkering a bit, an older baler will be just fine.
