Oakley had lots of mud two yrs ago and the youngins and teens entertained everyone at the pullin tracks by doin mud slides and mud tug-a-wars etc and all was good. Plenty of "hitandmiss" generated home made ice cream, open to everyone one pull test track with transfer sled for just for fun pulling. Got to say it....it outclasses Buckley by quite a lot imo. Three pulling tracks , crops to harvest,bale chop and then plow , 6 times more tractors/machinery and lot less junk (read China crap) flee market, lot more good food choices.....sure I missed a lot.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
