If you can remember my post about surprising increase of wood and the failure of the logger whom we have been doing business with for the last 10 years, failed to put us on the list for this years delivery. Wood was delivered to my daughter and SIL home last week. Now bear in mind we went thru a couple of price increases during that ten years without us complaining as we know fuel, repairs, employees pay, contributes to increases, which we were always notified of. The problem we faced was no notification, not being put on the list, as we requested, and being put to the mercy of lumber mills, who set the prices. Anyway, we've made up all but 3 cord for us and 6 cord for my other daughter. Like I stated, we are self reliant and will not kneel at the mercy of anybody.Any way we are going to keep warm this year. Here's the picture of the efforts. LOU
