Hi I restore tractors and fix for guys in my shop, I'm not going to put you off. But make another suggestion. as others have said, I know parts prices will pretty well kill a full sized and maybe a lawn tractor project before you start it don't take long to spend $200. I am going to now say to you, is there a club or group like a museum local to you, that has tractors they are restoring for a museum or Just private club guys with there own stuff. Maybe you could find the museum or a club member to go help, them spend there money work on there stuff and hopefully learn from the older guys while your there . Then while doing this save your money and go for something better than 3-$500 when your ready. Just my thoughts on this I know we need the next generation to follow us with this. I'm smarter than to tell you forget it, and go play video games like some would. Good luck and hope something works for you. Regards Robert
