30 dollars per hour may look generous to some but then you have to figure in the cost of living in that community. There will be more people struggling to get by and fewer truly wealthy people. Older people counting on steady appreciation in their homes are not realizing the projections they had made many years ago. There are fewer high wage jobs in any community versus a generation ago. The "good" factory jobs around here pay 10 to 12 dollars an hour. That does not lend itself to making offers of 125,000 dollars on homes. Home values are slowly but steadily eroding.
