For a inserted / indexable push-pull barI made one about 6 foot long cause dad has one 8 and 12 foot long. I used 1/4" x 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" square tube about 4" long. I then inserted a 1/4" x 2" x 2" about 2" long in to the larger tube. Drill a hole for a 7/8 hole for a 3/4" pin. Pull the smaller tube out and rotate it 90 degrees and reinstall. Drill another hole through the smaller tube. Get some 1/2" x 2" flat bar and cut 4 of them about 12" long. Drill a 7/8 hole for a 3/4" pin 1" from the end of the flat bars. Weld the flat bar on the end of the tubes it will look kind of like this =-----= . Now the reason I like the insert stile push bar is i can rotate it because some tractors have a horizontal pin in the front instead of vertical.
