I grew up on a Holstein dairy farm (we probably had 70 cows, tops) and along with each cow having an ear tag, my mom had a name for each cow. For the one super jumper that we had, mom had named her "Trouble". If there was one cow that was through the fence it was "Trouble", or if the whole herd was out, chances are it was "Trouble" who had led them out. When "Trouble" had her first calf, it was immediately clear that this calf was twice the trouble of "Trouble". Both "Trouble" and her calf were taken to market on the same truck. That was probably one of the happier days that mom enjoyed.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
