Was heading back home from the prayer service for my day. Wife was to work at 9:00 that night and running kind of close. Seen a vehicle coming, thinking it might be the county deputy in the truck. Just then the lights. pulled over and had everything ready. Office asked if from out of state (had the KIA we bought from the daughter in Albq. NM) Said no, just waiting on the title to get plates switched. Said coming back from the prayer service and running late to get wife to work, but said it was no excuse and that I knew I was speeding. He took license and all back to truck. About 5 minutes later he comes back. Said I hadn't been stopped in a along time and gave me a warning. Was doing 78 in a 55 WHEW. While pulled over, brother and SIL and family passed us. Dad must have been looking down on me already. Rest in peace dad and thanks.
