Took my wife to the eye Dr for evaluation and eye checked. It has been over 6 years of non driving including the tractor to haul poo. As my eyes were, before the surgery, I wouldn't have went to the mailbox the way they were, let alone, have my wife as a passenger. My son did all the driving before the surgery. I even went for license renewal and passed with bad eyes, just lucky I guess. Still all in all I didn't drive cause I didn't trust myself. I might drive the tractor for additional loads of horse poo to keep compost current and I have reliance in my ability to put a vehicle on the road. At 79 yrs old I'm looking out 25 yr old eyes or so it seems, what beautiful colors and definitive objects. Thank the Good Lord for the skill he has instilled in humans along with the kindness mannerisms. What a gift. I don't know how much longer I have with these eyes, but I am appreciating the time I have to use them. I again wish to thank those of you who encouraged me to have the surgery. I can now be one who will encourage others who are reluctant or afraid to have it done. Warmest regards, LOU
