NCWayne: I can't stand anything on my hands or wrists. I tried to wear my ring when I was first married. It was off and in my pocket before I got out the lane. I did not even realizes I had taken it off. I have been married for a lot of years and never have worn a ring. A ring is not what "makes" you married. So I am not a good person to recommend where to keep a ring.
Here is what several guys that I have worked with did. They kept a clean spot in their tool boxes and ALWAY put their ring in that place when ever they where working. These guys may not have been on the road as much as you but do you usually use the same tools/box most of the time????

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
