Nice pictures, thanks for posting. I remember my dad talking about the 1949 Ford he bought new. It had a 6 cylinder in it and it got between 22-26 mpg. Gee we have come such a long way with miles per gallon since then lol.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
