I'm like VicS, you'll need an ORC. It just makes a difference. I have a belly mower on my farmall H and yes there is a little inertia there and you have to wait until the mower stops to shift gears or to go from neutral into gear, that and I found mowing in certain spots where you want to stop quick I have to pull the shift lever out of gear when I'm pushing in the clutch when I could be using that hand to lift the mower instead of shifting the shift lever before I shift into reverse.
