: Need right side hydr. remote for a 1971 JD 4000,I have the left side, also can more than two remotes be installed on this tractor, I need three pair. : There can be up to three factory SCV's (Selective Control Valves installed on a John Deere 4000 tractor. All three valves are the same. The second valve can be bolted right on after removing cover plate. If you wish to add the third valve you will need a differnt plate in behind the right hand valve this will allow you to put the third valve above the right hand valve. Not hard to install the valves but you will have to remove the levers and consol to install your control levers, arms and linkages. Later model tractor valves can be used they are basicly the same, all 30, 40, 50 and 60 series valves will bolt right on the 50 and 60 series will have ISO outletts wich take Pioneer tips only.
