well, a deep subject. lol property has a 2in well, steel pipe, and a wellhouse, went in to look it over, pump head is still on the casing but elect motor is laying on the ground. i have a whole pump n motor to replace the whole unit, but have some questions.. could i, or should i, either use a large air compressor n blow down the pipe to blow the screen clear, or maybe high pressure water to wash it out? no soap just water before i attempt to change the pump? question two, if the casing has a hole, can i take 1in pvc n drop it down inside the 2in n draw it like a straw hooked up to a common jet pump? question three, should i call a well repair company n have them look it over being their real experts? not many repair companies want to mess with old two inchers anymore. its probably been since 07 when last used, its in a wellhouse, so not alot of outside contaminates, pump was wrapped in a garbage bag. any thoughts?
