258? Maybe with the 12 volt upgrade and added aftermarket 3 point hitch. As a collectable? Collectors look for OEM equipment, restoration to as came from factory in 1949-- this looks more like somebodies working garden tractor with the electric upgrade and the 3pt for "modern" equipment. $1400.00?-- Cheaper than a new MTD Cub and could use a single 16 inch or 2-12 plow, 6 foot disc for garden work, 2 row cultivator for the sweet corn and beans in a garden-and that is what prior owner before current seller probably did. If it starts and runs, 3 pt works could start dickering for $999.00, split the difference and figure fair deal in many areas. If it doesn"t run then 3 pt unit likely fits others, parts sale over a year before scrapman gets rest??? Some places $1400.00 asking price would be gone 2 minutes after engine starts. RN .
