I replied to the post on tool talk, but will post here also....
I had seen that info regarding shutting off the streaming facebook videos, so I tried it about a week ago, and it really did cut down on what it's showing my internet usage is.
Now, I'm not on facebook all the time or anything, maybe an hour or so a day at most, some days not at all, and when I am I rarely watched any of the videos that people had put up. But apparently they were all running all the time when I was on there.
I'm wondering if somehow facebook was running through my phone too, since I can access it that way although I seldom do, because even with my desktop computer disconnected from the internet, my usage used to go up by large amounts between times I actually was on the computer. It doesnt do that anymore since I disabled the facebook video thing.
Also, facebook used to be super-slow, now it's just as fast as any other website.
