this weekends trip to PA Ray H. ,The Turnip patch this season,,,,,,, while bringing the tractor over to mow around the pond,I Picked some sweetcorn and dropped it at my tenants door we are really lucky so far,we have rented this house out for over 14 years,the first tenants were sloppy,but got divorced and luckily only lived there 1 year,The second tenants were pretty good and lived there around 11 years until they built a house and moved,the current tenant lived there for 2 years,and pays the rent ahead of time,keeps the place really nice. really nice places to sit on the front porch,kind of makes me sad,if you remember,I dreamed I would be sitting on that porch,but my wife does not want to leave nj,,,oh well,,,,, funny thing happend,,the neighbor across the street,a nice older man ,,said hey, can you do me a favor and mow my garden down? I said why? Its not qiute done yet.....he Said,,mow it,,,I Grow a garden and my wife walks right by the garden and buys vegetables at the grocery store,,,,mow it please,,,,so,,,,I mowed it ! hey,,,Ithink my daughter will be able to pick some pumkins this year afterall! now we have to cultivate the small garden patch painted the roof two coats a while ago,but just got to taking the scaffold away the roof looks good,I hope it lasts a while,well see,, ,,,,Thanks for visiting with me in PA,stop in again next weekend!!

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
