Round bales of good grass hay is selling for $50-75 per ton. So a 1500# bale would be $37.50-56.25 about.
Round bales of good alfalfa is in the $120-150 per ton range.
Those prices are half of last years. You do have to remember that corn is at $115 a ton now and wet gluten feed is at $30 per ton. So even with there not being as much hay the other feed sources are cheaper too.
Just about all feed stuffs are down. Soybean meal is one of the few that is still high priced.
