The older running gears went for 130 to 180; the 1074 brought 800. The Super 55 sold for 2250 and needed at least a new rear and two fronts if not new all around. Older Case wide front went for around 600. One 8N sold for 1600 and another went back home at 1100. I was sleeping on a nice clean, rubber-tired IH 13-hole drill with a home-built 3PH. I figured it was too heavy to pick up with my TO-30. After it sold for 150, I thought, gee dummy you can just pull it with the hitch. Duh!!!
I've been looking for a trailer for a while. I bought a small eight-foot x four-foot trailer for 70 dollars.I plan to use it for hauling woods to the house. Can also use it to haul stones and other stuff. It has 15" tires and is light enough to maneuver by hand. I think I'll get a lot of use out of it.
