I have been picking up things for resale this summer.
I pickup a JD 920 Mo-Co about a month ago. I thought I would just clean it up and replace the knives. Well I got looking at it earlier today. It has an oil leak on the cutter bar that just showed up when I moved it to mow under it. So I now will have to pull all the turtles out and check the entire bar over they are a little looser than I like. So short project into a weeks work for me anymore.
I have a JD 4440 that I bought a year ago or so. It just had the engine rebuilt but the cab interior was totally shot. I started to replace the interior and found out the cab top has been broken. Something has been dropped on the cab at some point. They just replace the fiberglass top and "set" it on top of the cab post. So I am going to have to strip the cab down to the steel frame and repair it. Cab interior is a half days work. The complete tear down and rebuild is more like another weeks to week and a half work.
Then two tractors that need the cab wiring and AC systems fixed. Those are always just a barrel of monkeys of fun too. LOL
Then there is the stuff I have that I knew needed a lot of work. So I just figured it up today. If I did not do anything else I currently have about a year of work setting here right now. LOL That is working 40-50 hours each week too. Not the old man work week I do anymore.
So some of this stuff may be at my estate sale just like it is now. LOL

This story is about the day my Grandfather Brown (true name) decided along with my parents to purchase a new Ford tractor. It wasn't really new except to us. The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
