Went to an auction on the west side of the state and didn't buy a tractor. Wife thought she dodged a bullet until the way home. Wife pointed this one out to me on the side of the road. Well anyway it made it home with me. it is a long model 1529 diesel 45 hp runs like a watch paid the woman $1500 My question is how long does it take to grow the green moss stuff and is there a fix for the plastics on the steering wheel and shifter?thanks dale

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
