A common cause of hyd oil from the torque tub where pump is located and migrating the rearend is a leaky 3pt piston seal, which is located under the seat. Under the seat is a big hex plug on LH side. That is the dipstick/fill for the rearend. If oil level is high the seal could be the problem. To check the hyd level look under the dash on the range shift cover. square plug and breather cap,front corner, fill and dipstick. If hyd is low add good tranny/hyd fluid to bring it up to full line, and try it again. Scroll down and join us on the CASE board.
