Several years ago I had a conversation with an older gentleman and he told me about the time he and his older brother took an old F-30 and put a "58 Olds V8 and automatic in it. He got this far in his story and my imagination took off! . . .loose steering. . .not quite centered rear cutoffs. . .fluid in the rear tires. . .BRAKES? He said that it would do better than 30 mph. Today's Featured Article - Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
