My neighbor has the same tractor as you. He had this problem last month. The battery was going bad to start with and he used a 12 charger to charge the battery. Finally it would not start at all. One of his relatives started checking things out and found that he had spark at the points but nothing at the plugs. The spark at the points was a yellowish color which is a weak spark. We decided it was the coil. We took to coil to a tractor part store and had it checked, it was bad enough that there was hardly any reading on the meter. Installed a new coil and it kicked right off. Check points, cap for cracks etc. If all fails have the coil checked.
