Shock absorber on the seat

I have a 1945 Allis Chalmer B tractor. It has a metal seat with a coil spring under the seat. It should have a shock absorber fastened to the underside of the seat to the frame of the tractor. Where could I get this shock absorber? I am finding it difficult to locate one. Thanks in advance for any help given me .
