After my friend contracted shingles I decided to get the shot and went to dr and he told me to go to the local pharmacy where they give the shots daily. Went over to get it and it was $125 and my ins wouldn't cover it. The pharmacist told me they give them at the county health clinic for about $85 but you may have to wait a week. So I made the appt. and about a week later they called and confirmed that they had enough signed up for the shots. I guess they need a certain number before they order the serum.
