Yeah, I think the adjuster plate is too tight. Look for a spring loaded button on the adjuster plate. Spray some penetrating oil on it and hold it in and rotate the plate clockwise. You should be able to tell how much the clutch is dragging by rotating the belt pulley. Once you get the clutch loose enough, you shouldn't feel any drag on the belt pulley. Email is open.
