Bryce: I usually try to keep out of things like this but your post just does not set well with me.
1) Your on an old tractor forum that is provided FREE by a lady that SELLS old tractor parts. You coming on here and trying to find CHEAP parts is like being asked over to supper and then complaining about the cooking.
2) Your working on a 79 year old tractor. That is about FIVE times your age. BE glad you can find ANY parts for something that old.
3) You will use more of the complete gasket kit that you think. You need the head gasket, lead sealing washers, intake and exhaust gaskets, carb gaskets, water housing gasket, and the valve cover gasket. Maybe your going to use Silicone on much of this stuff but I do not recommend it.
Maybe a way to look at it is this way. $193.00 for a complete set on this very site. $125 for providing you with a place to post on just about every day and then $68 for the parts you need ???
Here is what I DO know; it would be classer than whining on here about how HIGH parts are every where else but on THE site your using for FREE.
Just my two cents worth. Maybe not how many think. Think/look at the BIG picture. Does that cheap $130 gasket place provide you with a forum to asked old tractor questions???

I can think of a few common, ordinary sounds in my daily life, too.
