I'm sure it's the dealers themselves. But your post reminds me of my nearest dealer. My employer was doing remodeling work for the John Deere shop. I won't go into details, because if I did everybody could get on Google and pinpoint this dealership. However, I will say that I've known the parts men for a long time and it's not like I've ever run out on my bills or given them a reason to avoid me. Anyway, we were working in this John Deere dealership for weeks. About once a week, I'd remind the parts man that I was looking for parts for a John Deere B that I wanted to restore and I was wondering what was still available from them as far as overhaul parts. Every week they would tell me that they would look when they "got time". They never did get time. I know that there is a lot more money to be made when they look up parts for the biggest tractors or the biggest combines, but you would think they would have helped me out when they "got time", or at the very least told me that parts were not available for it. I guess all the parts for this tractor will be from this site or the aftermarket.
