Well, I took some of you guys advice and took in the Civil War Museum in Harrisburg. It was Excellent. Very well laid out and does an excellent job of giving you details of the war in chronological order, with lots of pieces of the war on display.
Today we toured the Gettysburg Battlefield. At the last minute we decided to take a bus tour. The tour guide had extreme knowledge of the battle. I would highly advise if anyone goes to Gettysburg and has actual interest in the Civil War to take a tour. It really gives you an in depth look into the 3 days of he!!. I have always had an interest in the Civil War but being from Ks we are not rich in the history as you folks are in this neck of the woods. It was a great day for sure. Thanks again for the suggestions. Bob
