Power company put a new pole and meter in my yard. Planning on new service to the house(90feet away) with a new 200A panel in basement. Already have the new 2/0-2/0-4/0 UF wire.
Plan is to come off the meter and go right to the house.
HOWEVER, would sure be nice to be able to come off the pole to go to outbuildings or cattle waterers. What are the options for a box at the meter pole? Some kind of feed-through deal?
Basically, something between the meter and the house that would allow me to split off. Make sense?
Note: I just talked with electrician about a quote, and they will be doing the work, or at the very least, supervising and signing off on my work. Not going in all willy-nilly. Thank you for your input.
