: Any info useful. : Reliable : O K for bushhog? : Eng size HP Cyls : Approx cost : Yrs built : Maybe picture or site to find one : 650 John Deere tractors were built between 1981 and 1987. They had a Two cylinder Deisel engine rated at 14.5 Hp. , 540 PTO, Eight speeds forward, Two reverses, Sliding gear transmission. Optional MFWD and Power steering. This tractor was built for John Deere by Yanmar Deisel of Japan. Very good little tractor and durable, the thing you got to remember is little. You could run them for a week on 5 gallon of fuel. If you have a soft spot for the old two cylinder deisel, this thing will really trip your trigger.
