Yes I have prided myself on getting it done with the oldest rustiest equipment on the block, but at some point you have to take the plunge and upgrade if you are going to grow your business. I am not one to trade in equipment, thus the reason to look at a new cutter. I made an absolute rust bucket 1209 last for 6 years. So I look at it...buy a new or near new one..it should be around for 20-25 years...with the low acreage I do..that is the thought I had with the rake I bought. It should be around when my 8 year old son takes over the operation
