After referring to my Ford shop manual, it appears that my Ford 3000 Diesel has a Simms pump. And gosh, they are expensive. Is it reasonable to think one might be repaired or rebuilt? Or might it just need a good cleaning?
Also, since my last post, I find that fuel "gushes" out of the bleed plug with great force when the engine is turned; however, upon disconnecting ONE injectior line, no fuel flows at all when the engine is turned. (I first tried the engine connection end and then the pump end - same result, no fuel flows at all in this one line - assume the other two lines would be the same.
