I, personally have problems with such "information". Scientists seem to feel that if an explanation isn't complicated, it isn't worth printing. I have my doubts as to the availability of solid information concerning the items discussed in the article, and it seems also that if something were that small, why would people waste their time trying to eat it? (I know, I know, they were starving and scrounging, right? Secondly, in the case of both the corn and the watermelon, if they both consisted of 75% or more water, why were they so hard to open, and why even bother? I know others will likely come back with a "very logical and scientific explanation", but that is just my humble opinion.
